I met your Grandfather a few times and he always made me feel at home. The first time I met him he had good stories to tell and the more we talked I found out he was friends with my Great Grandfather Danny Vera, who was an other great man. But most of all the time and love Ryan had for him. Ryan would come home after spending time with him, he would be laughing about something that happened that day he was with your Grandfather and Ryan would always tell me a story about him. He loved him very much and loved spending time with him. And I know he feels really bad that he couldn't be here for the serves. I'm so sorry for your loss he was a great man and so loved.

Although I've never had the privilege of meeting the east coast Dobacks, reading the obituary for my great-uncle John made me think of his brother, my grandpa, Mike. I used to watch old country westerns with him as a kid and the ONLY kind of music that would get his feet moving was polka. I'm sad I never got to meet John but I know how much he was loved. I thought I would share with you an Irish blessing that I came across when my grandpa passed away: May you see God's light on the path ahead When the road you walk is dark.
